Congratulations to KoSha who was announced as one of 6 finalists chosen from over 1300 entries by Billboard Magazine to compete in this years Southwest Regional finals of the Independent Music World Series! This competition was nationwide and ended with 24 finalists (6 from each designated region). KoSha will be performing in Austin, Tx on October 11th, 2007 at Emo's Lounge for a chance to win over $50,000 in cash and prizes! Congradulate KoSha on this very big achievement by signing the guestbook in recognition of this. She will be the only hip hop artist in the lineup and will be competing against some very tough bands. But nevertheless, KoSha will give a performance to write in the history books!

KoSha receives the Best New Female Hip-Hop Artist in Chicago award! After being involved in the Chicago music scene and performing both locally and throughout the midwest, KoSha receives her very first music award. "It feels good to finally be recognized in this industry. It is so hard for the female emcee and also being an artist from Chicago to break through. Tune in to Scenarios Usa BET film premier of "Reflections" on Sunday Feb. 4th 2007 at 12noon!!! KoSha's single, "Angel In Da Sky" will be playing during a scene in the movie!!!! "Reflections" is a short film about 3 young women and issues they face in a community where HIV infection and drug abuse run rampant. This film is written by Maywood, IL own Keyana Ray (Senior @ Proviso East H.S.) and directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood (Love and Basketball).
